Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Hey Ashley! Don't know if this has been asked but do you have any plans to release physical copies of chapters 10-18?

Big yes, as well as a reprint of volume 2. More info on this after the current chapter is completed! Right now I’m in webcomic mode; no brain space for print yet :)

Give how she was raised and what she lacks, is Sette lactose intolerant?

Not even a little. She’ll guzzle straight-up full-fat cream if she can get a hold of it. It used to be a thing in RP that the local pub owner would keep a bottle of whole milk specifically for Sette, to prevent her from going around and drinking all his patrons’ dregs, getting wasted, and picking fights with his pet goat.

Hullo! Lovely updates as usual- seems the plat on page 68 of this chapter got called a "mayflay", I think it's supposed to be mayfly?

Yeah, it was a typo and I fixed it a few days ago but my webhost has a weirdass bug? Or maybe it’s intentional? Where it refuses to serve updated image files. So that original file is stuck on the server for some reason even though I wrote over it with the update. I could delete that file and it would still serve it up. I dunno, man.

Eventually it’ll resolve itself, but do any tech people out there know why the server is like that? Is there some kind of remote cache?

What about Sette's clothes? They're not an extension of her soul or whatever are they. Doesn't that mean she's immune? She's the most safe.

Sette’s clothes are just her clothes. They grant her huge style bonuses though, she’d do best to keep them equipped.

"and even nudified" To this point I just assumed Duane and by extension Anadyne's clothes were just a part of their spirit.

Pretty much, yeah. Duane can look however he wants, or however the person looking at him wants him to look, or however and whomever he happens to be feeling from moment to moment. If you got him talking about and remembering his childhood, he’d suddenly look ten again. Just ghost things.

Sessine does not love the Black tongues (only caring for her lost partner) but at the same time is so possessive of them that she demands they were a collar the allows her to monitor and control, makes sure they can't have children, and is definitely going to be made about the ruck thing. I'm starting to feel like the blue print for this character started as the worst possible girlfriend.

I’d describe her as more of a god than anything mortal. There have been a great many god concepts that make enormous behavioural, sexual, or physical demands of their followers in exchange not for love, but for boons and protection. Ilganyag did give those latter things, and she never really promised any of the Black Tongues her love~

BTW folks who read/look at/enjoy/consume adult content should fill this out too! Not just artists and writers! You too have been negatively impacted when adult creators have to close shop!

I can’t help but think if this gets dragged up to our currently ultra Conservative Christian Supreme Court, a lot of people are going to be sorely disappointed by the outcome.

Anonymous asked:

didn't Nary sell Sette to Starfish though?

Starfish was either delusional or lying. He found out about Sette and her strange uh, condition, Nary bitched about it to him, but Nary never promised him anything but money for services rendered.

It WAS supposed to be ambiguous though. Sette worried about it. She couldn’t really know for sure, and that was intolerable enough that Starfish just had to go. She ripped her knowledge of him clean out like a cancer.

Oh yeah, that sorta begs the question, why was Bastion in a place to give such a recommendation? Like does Beadman work with Blacktongues a lot or Bastion specifically?

Bastion is older than he looks, can travel a mile in a blink, and has connections all over the world. You’ll recall he even knows Shadwe Grandvin of the Temple of Song. And today he met the Queen of Cresce!

Jab Beadman has been a friend of the Black Tongues for many years, and as one of the more esteemed members before his self-exile, Bastion had many dealings with the man. Bastion earned the industrialist’s respect not only for his pymaric ability but for how level-headed he was among the Black Tongues’ other more ah, eccentric, whimsical savants. Beadman eventually asked for him by name even above first dealing with their sanctioned leader. He was irritated when he vanished.

Bastion Winalils and Jab Beadman really do get along great. I regret they didn’t get a scene together. Maybe I’ll write a scene with them having dinner or something one day. Maybe their first meeting, when Bastion was still apprenticed to Maur.
